The Rio Grande Chapter of the Health Physics Society would like to announce our upcoming 2017 Spring Technical Meeting and Continuing Education Training Sessions scheduled for April 2 & 3, 2017 at the Hotel Santa Fe, The Hacienda Spa & Resort.
They have provided us with a group rate for lodging for $100 per night. When booking, please let them know that you are affiliated with the Rio Grande Chapter Health Physics Society when you call 877-259-3409 to make your reservation. To be given the RGC HPS Group Rate you must book your room by March 2, 2019 so be sure to make your reservations early!
The continuing education training on April 2, 2017 will be a CHP Preparatory/Review Session from 8am – 5pm taught by Dr. Thomas Johnson from Colorado State University, with lunch provided. The application is pending for AAHP continuing education credits for our training session as well as the technical meeting, both of which can also be applied to NRRPT continuing education requirements.

Abstract Due Date: 27 March 2017
Abstracts will be printed directly from your electronic submission to RGC HPS President-Elect Alexandra Robinson at arrobin@sandia.gov. Minor editing (punctuation and grammar) may be performed on your abstract; you will not see a revised version before publication. It is our intent to publish the agenda prior to the sessions.
All Technical Session presentations are slated for an oral format with PowerPoint slides. Standard oral presentations are scheduled for 15 or 25 minutes segments with an additional 5 minutes for questions, please indicate the length of time you will require for your presentation when submitting your abstract.
If you need additional time for your presentation, please indicate this upon submittal.
Abstract Acceptance: Notification of acceptance will be sent via email to the presenting author by March 4, 2019.
Presentation Publication: In previous years, the RGC HPS has posted the technical presentations on its website. Please notify RGC HPS President-Elect Alexandra Robinson at arrobin@sandia.gov upon submittal if there are any restrictions on dissemination..
